Through my succession
of tears to anger
I have overcome.

Resisting the urge
to let it all go
coming undone
I have overcome.

Down, down
you wished
to bring me
I have overcome.

My spirit is alive.
My spirit thrives
My mind, My body, my soul
survives and
I have overcome.
