Elisabet Mateos was born in Barcelona, Spain where she grew up. She came to the United States to study with a scholarship and got her degree in Business and Marketing from the University of Texas Pan American. While working as a research assistant for the director of the PHD program at that university, she did studies and developed websites based on research on compulsive behavior and got her MBA with emphasis on Marketing.

She has worked promoting business in the Mexican-American border by utilizing Internet marketing and has developed several bilingual websites in English and Spanish.

Her web design knowledge, marketing skills and Spanish language proficiency makes her a great addition to Arte Sana.
